Black Earth Area Parks

Welcome to our beautiful Red Hawk Subdivision and our Red Hawk Valley Park. Here we have playground equipment and lots of open space for other activities such as frisbee, catch, volleyball, etc. Don't forget to bring a picnic to enjoy in the gazebo!

Located right next to the Black Earth Creek, Community park has playground equipment for children to play on, basketball courts, a softball/kickball field and two shelters to picnic under with a lot of open grassy area to run. Community park is home of the Jerry Barsness baseball field where our local home talent plays during the summer. If you are interested in hosting a family reunion or other party, please feel free to contact the Village Office about rental of the shelters and kitchen at Community Park.

Please stop by Veterans Memorial Park to see the beautiful memorial the community has made to our veterans in the area. Also, bring a picnic to enjoy under the shelter, or some lawn chairs and a blanket for a true picnic in the grass. Veterans Park has playground equipment to offer for the kids, a tennis/pickle ball court, and a large open area to play frisbee, catch, or just enjoy the day. If you are interested in hosting a gathering or a party, please feel free to contact the Village Office about rental of Veterans Memorial Park Shelter.

Come hang out at Ripp Meadow Park under the gazebo or playing on the playground equipment enjoying the beautiful scenery around us.

Welcome to our Sunny Field Park! Here we have lots of playground equipment to play on for all ages, and benches to enjoy the peace and quiet of our beautiful village.

Up for a hike? Come climb the stairs to visit our Tower Heights Park that is set back in the outskirts of the village. Follow the path and you will find yourself in the Red Hawk subdivision where you can venture to another park, Red Hawk Valley Park, or turn around and take the trail back through Tower Heights Park for some more nature viewing. Feel free to bring your 4 legged friends, we know they love nature too, we just ask that you keep them on a leash and clean up after them too!
